THE HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO Writ Petition No.31245 of 2016 ORDER: (Per Hon'ble the Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan) Both Sri K.Durga Prasad, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Shaik Jeelani Basha, learned Special Standing Counsel for Commercial Taxes, would agree that the Writ Petition could be disposed of with a direction to the respondents to release the vehicle and the goods on the petitioner furnishing proof of payment of tax on the value of the goods and two times thereof as penalty. The Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of directing the respondents to release the vehicle and the goods on the petitioner furnishing proof of payment of tax on the value of the goods and two times thereof as penalty. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall also stand disposed of.
