The petitioner approached the Court seeking prayer as under:
"to issue a Writ or order or direction more in the nature of Writ of Mandamus dectaring that the petitioner is eligible and entitled for admission into LLB (3 Years) Degree Course and study the same as per the Rank obtained by the petitioner in LAW CET-2O13, by holding the action of the respondents in denying the admission to the petitioner for LLB (3 Years) Degree course on the alleged and untenable ground that the petitioner's acquire higher qualification of Degree without basic education is as illegal, unjust, arbitrary, discriminatory and violative of Artictes L4,4L of the Constitution of India and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the interest of justice."

2. It is represented by the learned counsel for the petitioner brings to the notice of this Court that the cause of action in the present writ petition does not survive for adjudication, any more.
3. Recording the above submission, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
