THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.1619 of 2013 ORDER:

In this Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., the petitioners/accused, seeks quashment of the Proceedings in FIR.No.54 of 2013 on the file of Rajiv Gandhi International Airport Police Station, Shamshabad, Cyderabad.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor has produced a copy of the Charge sheet and submitted that the police after investigation laid chargesheet against the petitioners for the offence under Sections 417, 376 IPC and Section 3

(2) (v) and 3 (1) (x) of SCs & STs (POA) Act, 1989 and therefore, the petition, which is filed to quash the FIR, has become infructuous and hence, it may be dismissed.

Learned counsel for petitioner has verified the charge sheet and did not object.

Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending, in this case, shall stand closed.
