The petitioner seeks pattadar passbooks and title deeds for the land in question, for which he made a representation by registered post on 12-10-2015. The present writ petition is filed alleging inaction on the part of the 4th respondent.

However, it is evident from the record that the petitioner's aforesaid representation is made to the District Collector, Kakinada and not to the recording authority. Consequently, there appears to be no application made under Form 6-A as prescribed under the A.P.Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971. Hence, no relief can be granted to the petitioner in the present writ petition as sought for. However, the petitioner is at liberty to make appropriate application in terms of the said Act and pay the requisite fee. If any such application is received, the 4th respondent shall examine the same and pass appropriate orders within the statutory time fixed. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition shall stand closed.
