THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SATYANARAYANA MURTHY WRIT PETITION No. 31722 OF 2018 ORDER:

This Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is filed by the petitioner challenging the action of respondent No. 2 in registering F.I.R.No. 357 of 2018 of Mancherial Town Police Station, Ramagundam District, against him for the offences punishable under Sections 448 and 506 read with Section 34 of IPC and Sections 3 (1) (s) and 3 (2) (Va) of SC ST POA Act, 2015. 2.

After arguing the case for awhile, learned counsel for the petitioner has requested this Court to direct the concerned S.H.O. to follow guidelines issued by the Apex Court in Dr. Subash Kashinath Mahajan Vs. State of Maharashtra1.

Acceding to the request of learned counsel for the petitioner, the Station House Officer, Mancherial Town Police Station, Ramagundam District, is directed to follow the guidelines issued by the Apex Court in Dr. Subash Kashinath Mahajan (supra).

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, in this criminal petition shall stand closed in consequence.
