Order: (Per the Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V.Nagarjuna Reddy) These contempt cases are filed alleging willful disobedience of common order dated 18.09.2017 in W.A.Nos.1370 of 2017 and batch. By the aforementioned judgment, this Court has directed the Singareni Collieries Company Limited to subject the petitioners also to medical examination on par with those who remained in service, in order to ascertain whether they suffer from medical disability or not. Alleging that this order of this Court has not been complied with, the appellants in the writ appeals filed these contempt cases. 2.

At the hearing, Mr.J.Srinivas Rao, learned Standing Counsel for Singareni Collieries placed before the Court, letter dated 16.09.2018 addressed by the Superintendent, District Headquarters Hospital, Khammam, to the Singareni Collieries Company Limited, wherein it is stated that the addressor has deputed Dr.B.Srinivas Rao, MS, Ortho, CAS, working in the District Hospital, Khammam, for conducting medical examination on 25.09.2018 at Singareni Collieries Main Hospital, Kothagudem. Based on this letter, the learned Standing Counsel submitted that the petitioners and other similarly situated persons in whose favour this court has issued directions, will be subjected to medical examination on 25.09.2018 and that separate communications are being sent to those persons including the petitioners,for being present for medical examination.

The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that in the light of the instructions reported by the learned Standing Counsel, he will advise his clients to be available on 25.09.2018 at Singareni Collieries Main Hospital, Kothagudem, for medical examination. 4.

Having regard to the facts noted above, the contempt cases are closed.
