This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in opening the History Sheet No.420, dated 02.09.2013 in the name of the petitioner without giving any notice or opportunity as illegal and arbitrary and consequently quash the same.

Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the Writ Petition and to that effect, he submitted a letter, dated 01.02.2018, before the Registry.
