HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 37780 OF 2016 ORDER:
Heard.
The present writ petition came to be filed seeking writ of Mandamus declaring the action of respondent Nos.2 and 3 in not mutating the name of the petitioner in the revenue records in respect of his land admeasuring Ac.1.30 cents as illegal and arbitrary and consequently, to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's application, dated 09.05.2012, for mutating his name in the revenue records.
When the matter is taken up, learned Government Pleader submits that the procedure for mutating the names would be by way of making necessary application in prescribed form and not by giving a representation. Having regard to the above, the petitioner is directed to make an application in Form-6A through MESEVA, in which event, the authority concerned shall consider the same in accordance with law as early as possible. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
