THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V. AFZULPURKAR WRIT PETITION No.23316 OF 2015 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents. Aggrieved by the proceedings in D.Dis.No.H/1167/2012, dated 14.12.2012, issued by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Tirupati, the 2nd respondent, the petitioner filed a revision petition in Roc.No.D4/1053 of 2013 before the Joint Collector, Chittoor District, the 1st respondent, which is stated to be pending.

The petitioner states that the Tahsildar, Tirupati Rural Mandal, Chittoor District, the 3rd respondent, had directed mutation of the lands in question in favour of the third parties ignoring that they are his ancestral properties and that no notice was issued to him. The orders of the 3rd respondent were confirmed the 2nd respondent by appreciating the petitioner's case. Hence, it is necessary for the revision petitioner that he must be heard and appropriate orders be passed on his revision petition.

The revision petition, as aforesaid, is pending from 2013. In the facts and circumstances of the case, it is appropriate to direct the 1st respondent to fix an early date of hearing the parties and pass appropriate orders on the revision petition filed by the petitioner expeditiously, preferably within a period of two months from the date of

receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs. Subject to the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
