Heard learned counsel for the petitioners.

The petitioners complain against the inaction of respondents in re-determining the compensation under Section 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 on the lines determined in O.P.No.58 of 1999 on the file of Senior Civil Judge, Nalgonda.

The grievance of petitioners is that the re-determination is a statutory right and obligation and the inaction is resulting in deprivation of re-determined compensation to the petitioners. Hence, the writ petition.

The facts are not in dispute.

On 09.02.2015, at the request of learned Government Pleader, the writ petition was directed to be posted on 12.03.2015. Today learned Government Pleader, for want of instructions, requests further time. The request for adjournment is refused. The writ petition is disposed after considering the material on record and by directing the 2nd respondent to consider the issue of redetermination of compensation as requested through representation dated 17.10.2001 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision to petitioners within a period of two weeks thereafter. If the re-determination entails payment of compensation, the same shall be paid within a period of eight weeks from the date of re-determination. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
