This criminal petition is filed by the petitioner/A.1 under Section 482 Cr.P.C seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.36 of 2010 on the file of the I Additional Judicial Magistrate, Mancherial, for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.
2. Pending the criminal petition, both parties filed Crl.P.M.P.(S.R.)No.33213 of 2015 and Crl.P.M.P.No.9742 of 2015 along with affidavit of the 2nd respondent-de facto complainant and a joint memo stating that they amicably settled the matter to purchase peace and, therefore, to accord permission to compound the above offences.
3. Having heard the parties, permission is thereby accorded as the parties stated that they have amicably settled the matter to purchase peace. Accordingly, the offences are compounded in terms of their compromise at the instance of the de facto complainant since present with the petitioner/A.1.
4. Accordingly, Crl.P.M.P.(S.R.)No.33213 of 2015 and Crl.P.M.P.No.9742 of 2015 are allowed. Consequently,
the criminal petition is allowed and all the proceedings relating to C.C.No.36 of 2010 on the file of the I Additional Judicial Magistrate, Mancherial, are quashed against the petitioner/A.1. The bail bonds of the petitioner/A.1, if any, shall stand cancelled.
5. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
