THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM CONTEMPT CASE No.2421 of 2018 ORDER:

This Contempt Case is filed alleging non-compliance of the order, dated 05.09.2017, passed by this Court in Writ Petition No.32709 of 2012.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

A perusal of the aforesaid order discloses that the subject matter of the Writ Petition became infructuous and that a general observation is made by this Court that the officials would be required to adhere to the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Charitable and Hindu Religious Institutions and Endowments Act, 1987, which cannot be considered as any specific direction issued by this Court to the respondent.

In that view of the matter, this Court is of the opinion that there is no contempt on the part of the respondent. Accordingly, this Contempt Case is closed, leaving it open to the petitioner to avail the remedies as available to him under law and seek specific relief by pointing out the obligations, which

CKR, J C.C.No.2421 of 2018 are required to be performed by the authorities concerned under the provisions of the aforesaid Act.
