HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.2944 OF 2009 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed for a writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 2nd respondent in constituting a Festival committee vide his proceedings dated 10.02.2009, as illegal and arbitrary and violative of Section 15 of Act 30/87 and the Rules made in the A.P.Charitable and Hindu Religious Institutions and Endowments Appointments of Trustees Rules, 1987. The relief sought in the writ petition is only for a particular season. Now, that particular season is already over, as such, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, it is open for the petitioner to avail his remedies in subsequent action taken by the respondents. No order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed.
