HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.399 of 2017 ORDER:
This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed by the petitioners seeking to declare the inaction of respondents 3 and 4 in mutating the names of the petitioners in revenue records and issue pattadar pass books in respect of the lands in survey No.531 admeasuring Acs.5-00 gts. of the 2nd petitioner and in survey No.531 admeasuring Acs.4-20 gts. and Ac.0-18 gts. of the 1st petitioner situated at Karni Village, Makthal Mandal, Mahabubnagar District, as illegal and arbitrary. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue. With their consent, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.
Though various grounds are raised in the writ petition, the learned counsel for the petitioners restricts his prayer seeking a direction to the 4th respondent to dispose of the on-line applications filed by the petitioners on 17.04.2016, at the earliest. Learned AGP would submit that the 4th respondent may be directed to dispose of the applications filed by the petitioners, in accordance with law, if the same is still pending consideration. Having regard to the rival submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 4th respondent-The Tahasildar to dispose of the on-line application Nos.TTMU021600705039 and TTMU021600705040 filed by the petitioners on 17.04.
including the government, as early as possible, preferably within a period of 8-12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
Miscellaneous petitions pending in this petition, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
