THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C.PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 17933 of 2016 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Revenue.

With the consent of both the parties, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

The present Writ Petition came to be filed with the following prayer:

'For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is hereby prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a Writ or order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the action of respondent No.2 in not considering the representation dated 02.02.2015 submitted by the petitioners as illegal and arbitrary and violative of Articles 14 and 300-A of the Constitution of India apart from being violative of principles of natural justice and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to forthwith consider the same and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem it fit and proper in the circumstances of the case'.

Though various grounds are raised, learned counsel for the petitioners restricts his prayer seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider their representation dated 02.02.2015. Without going into merits of the case and having regard to the circumstances stated above, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to consider the representation dated 02.02.2015 made by the petitioners seeking necessary action against the persons who are making illegal constructions, and pass orders in accordance with law, after hearing all the concerned, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs.
