THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.12426 OF 2013 ORDER:

This Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India came to be filed seeking to declare the action of respondents in insisting the petitioners to give undertaking to work as Senior Mate under MGNREG Scheme as illegal and arbitrary and consequently to direct the respondents to continue the petitioners as Field Assistants in their respective Gram Panchayats. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the respondents.

Learned counsel for the respondents, on instructions, submits that no action is being proposed to be taken against the petitioners in pursuance to the show cause notice. He further submits that in view of the interim order passed by this Court on 25.04.2013, petitioners are continued as senior mates/field assistants.

Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel for the respondents, across the Bar, no further orders are required to be passed in this Writ Petition.

Hence, the Writ Petition is closed.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending in this petition, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
