ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking to declare the proceedings No.449/2017/P&E/A1 dated 22.08.2017 issued by the 1st respondent as illegal and arbitrary.

The case of petitioners is that the 1st respondent issued the impugned proceedings informing that the seniority of Prohibition and Excise Inspectors from the panel year 2011-12 to 2015-16 will be issued duly assigning placement to the direct recruitee Prohibition and Excise Inspectors of 2013 batch as per their date of service regularization/orders of merit duly distributing substantive vacancies between the direct recruitees and promotees quota. Subsequently, the petitioners gave a representation before the Commissioner of Prohibition and Excise, Hyderabad, the 2nd respondent, on 26.08.2017, but the same has not been disposed of. 3.

Heard learned counsel for petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Services-I for respondents. 4.

Since the representation dated 26.08.2017 of petitioners is pending before the 2nd respondent, I deem it appropriate to direct the 2nd respondent-Commissioner of Prohibition and Excise, Hyderabad, to dispose of the representation dated 26.08.2017 of petitioners, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order or before affecting further promotions, whichever is earlier.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
