Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Municipal Administration and Urban Development, appearing for the first respondent, Sri Sampath Prabhakar Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for GHMC, appearing for respondent Nos.2 to 5, and Sri Venkatesh Desh Pandey, learned counsel for respondent Nos.6 to 9, apart from perusing the entire material available on record. According to the petitioner he filed an appeal against the order passed by the Deputy Commissioner, Circle-2, GHMC, Uppal-fifth respondent herein, before the Zonal Commissioner, GHMC, East Zone, Kothapet-fourth respondent herein, on 26.07.2016, but despite lapse of considerable length of time, the fourth respondent herein is not deciding the said appeal. When the matter is taken up, it is submitted by the learned Standing Counsel that, if the said appeal is pending before the fourth respondent, as on today, the same will be disposed of, in accordance with law.
Recording the above submission, Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the fourth respondent herein to pass appropriate orders on the appeal, dated 26.07.2016, preferred by the
petitioner herein against the orders of the fifth respondent herein issued vide proceedings No.6/Cir-2/GHMC/2015-16, dated 20.06.2016, after giving notice to all the stakeholders, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
