ORDER:

This writ petition is filed for the following substantive relief:

"...to issue a Writ, Order or Direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the proceedings No.T.O.O (CGM-HRD&Trg) Rt.No.53 dated 19-052009 issued by Respondent No.2 granting promotion to Respondent Nos.4 & 5 superseding the Seniority of the petitioner herein is violative of Article 14 & 16 (4) and Article 21 of Constitution of India and contrary to the seniority list prepared by the respondent No.1, 2 and 3 vide Memo No.CGM(HRD&Trg) (DS(P)AS(P) PO (Adm-I) 1/571/2002 dated 06-10-2006 under Regulations 28(d) of APSEB Service Regulations Part II and consequently set aside the said impugned proceedings dated 19-05-2009 issued by Respondent No.2 herein."

Sri J.Suhdheer, learned counsel for the petitioner, has addressed letter, dated 26.10.2015, informing the Registrar (Judicial) that his client seeks to withdraw the writ petition. Today, at the hearing, the learned counsel reiterated the said request. In view of the same, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. As a sequel to dismissal of the writ petition, W.P.M.P.No.18697 of 2013 shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
