K. Bala Krishna, S/o. Danaiah, Aged about 32 years, Occ: Driver, E.238173, R/o.H.No.2-139/B, Muttureddygudem, Atmakur Mandal, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri District .. Petitioner And The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation, rep., by its Managing Director, Bus Bhavan, RTC X Roads, Hyderabad and others .. Respondents The Court made the following:
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.31905 OF 2018 ORDER:
Heard.
2.
This Writ Petition is filed challenging the order of suspension from service dated 25.08.2018. On the same day, charge sheet was also served on the petitioner.
3.
A bare reading of the order of suspension would show that petitioner is alleged to have committed cash and ticket irregularities. It is not the case of the petitioner that Depot Manager is not competent to place the petitioner under suspension. It cannot also be said that there was no material before the disciplinary authority to place the petitioner under suspension and without application of mind, order of suspension was passed.
4.
On a perusal of the order impugned and the material on record would show that disciplinary authority was of the prima facie opinion that petitioner indulged in cash and ticket irregularities and therefore he was placed under suspension. 5.
At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that Writ Petition may be disposed of with a direction to the disciplinary authority to complete the enquiry as expeditiously as possible. 6.
The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of directing the disciplinary authority to complete the enquiry, subject to petitioner cooperating, as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period
of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. Pending Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, shall stand closed. ____________________ P. NAVEEN RAO, J Date:07.09.2018 KH
