This writ petition is filed aggrieved by the in-action of the respondent-Police in taking steps to investigate into FIR in Cr.No.66 of 2018, dated 11-03-2018 registered against the unofficial respondents as being illegal, arbitrary and for issuance of appropriate consequential directions.

Learned Asst. Government Pleader for Home on instructions submits that in all three witnesses have been examined in the case and the investigation is in progress and charge sheet will be filed as expeditiously as possible.

Inasmuch as the grievance of the petitioner is only with regard to non-completion of investigation in the case and filing of charge sheet, recording the submission made by the learned Asst. Government Pleader for Home, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent-Police to complete the investigation and take further steps in the matter in accordance with law. There shall

be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
