When the matter is taken up, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that for redressal of her grievance, the petitioner herein submitted a representation to the respondents on 16.07.2018, but no action has been taken so far on the said representation. Eventually, a request is made by the learned counsel for the petitioner to direct the respondents to take appropriate action on the said representation. On the other hand, Sri N.Praveen Kumar, learned standing counsel for the respondents' corporation, submits that if any such representation is pending consideration before the respondents, the same will be verified and appropriate orders will be passed, strictly in accordance with law.

Recording the said submission, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the respondents to verify the representation, dated 16.07.2018, said to have been submitted by the petitioner herein and take appropriate action, or pass appropriate orders thereon, strictly in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of 6 (six) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No order as to costs. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in consequence.
