HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE V.RAMASUBRAMANIAN AND HON'BLE MRS JUSTICE ANIS Writ Petition No.24473 of 2016 Order: (per V.Ramasubramanian, J.) The grievance of the petitioners is about disaffiliation for two shifts of M. Pharmacy in Pharmaceutics.

2. Heard Mr. Tarun G. Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr. A.Abhishek Reddy, learned counsel for the 1st respondent-University.

3. At the threshold, it is to be pointed out that the petitioners are running M. Pharmacy in Pharmaceutics in two shifts. Merely because they are running the course for two shifts, it cannot be said that it is enough for them to employ one set of faculty for both shifts. It appears that they have employed only one set of faculties.

4. According to the deficiency report, there were three faculties in shortage and two Ph.D. holders in shortage. Insofar as Ph.D., is concerned, the petitioners have shown the appointment of one Dr. Mantri Siva Kumar. But, unfortunately, he was absent on the date of inspection. His order of appointment, is dated 27-02-2015, but he is stated to have been appointed in the report of the Fact Finding Committee (FFC) on 03-01-2016. But he joined duty even as per his letter only on 01-3-2016. On 29-5-2016 at the time of inspection he was not present. Therefore, the University was justified in not counting his head.

5. Once this is clear, the requirements are not satisfied. Hence the writ petition is dismissed. The miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. No costs.
