This criminal petition is filed for quash of the proceedings in CC.No.394 of 2009, against the petitioner, who is A1, on the file of the IX Metropolitan Magistrate, Kukatpally. The offences alleged are under Section 498-A read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The learned Public Prosecutor produced a letter addressed by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Miyapur Police Station, Cyberabad Commissionerate dated 13.11.2018 stating that the case has been compromised before the Lok Adalat on 09.09.2015. 3.

In the light of the above, this Court opines that no further orders are required to be passed in this criminal petition. The criminal petition is closed. As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed. __________ T. RAJANI, J November 30, 2018 DSK
