THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.KESHAVA RAO WRIT PETITION No.40217 OF 2014 ORDER:

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4. The prayer sought for in the writ petition is as under: " to issue a writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents 3 and 4 in interfering in the civil disputes and calling petitioners to the police station and made petitioners to sit unnecessarily in the absence of any complaint, as illegal, arbitrary and contrary to the provisions of Criminal Procedure Code, 1973 and Article 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents 3 and 4 not to interfere in the civil disputes and call petitioners to police station and make petitioners to sit unnecessarily in the absence of any complaint."

The learned Government Pleader placed on record the written instructions dated 07.01.2015 issued by the Station House Officer, Bommuru Police Station, Rajahmundry Urban District stating that they are not interfering in the civil disputes between the petitioners and the respondents 5 and 6 and that they have not called the petitioners to the police station as alleged. In the light of the above statement, no further orders are required in the writ petition and the same is accordingly closed. No costs.
