THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No.31942 OF 2018 O R D E R :

The petitioner is challenging the action of the 1st respondent in issuing proceedings dated 02.08.2018 whereunder the petitioner has been transferred from Government High School, Recob Bazar, Khammam as School Assistant (English) Urdu Medium to Government High School, Junior Boys School, MP Yellandu, Badradri, Kothagudem District as School Assistant (English) Telugu Medium.

The grievance of the petitioner is that though he has preferred a statutory appeal on 07.08.2018 against the impugned proceedings dated 02.08.2018 before the 6th respondent, the 6th respondent is neither disposing of the appeal nor passing orders staying the transfer orders.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that appropriate orders be passed in the writ petition directing the 6th respondent to dispose of the appeal preferred by the petitioner on 07.08.2018 in accordance with law.

Learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that the appellate authority would consider the appeal in accordance with Rules and appropriate orders will be passed, if not already passed.

This Court, having considered the rival submissions of both the parties, is of the considered view that this writ petition can be disposed of directing the 6th respondent to dispose of the appeal preferred by the petitioner on 07.08.2018 and pass appropriate

orders within a period of six (06) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

With the above observations, writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed in consequence.
