- 2 - THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.32061 OF 2018 ORDER :

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Municipal Administration for respondent No.1, learned Government pleader for Revenue for respondents 3 and 4 and Sri N.Venkateswarlu, learned Standing counsel for respondent No.2 2.

The grievance of the petitioner is that the death benefits of his father are now sought to be disbursed to the ineligible persons. The material on record would disclose that father of the petitioner was an employee in Salur Municipality in the State of Andhra Pradesh. The adjudication of service grievance of employees of Municipality is also vested with the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal (for short 'the Tribunal') constituted under the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985 (for short 'the Act'). As the Tribunal is the court of first instance, petitioner has to avail the remedies available under the Act, before invoking the jurisdiction of this Court. The remedy provided under the Act being an effective and efficacious, this Court is not inclined to entertain the writ petition. 3.

Thus, leaving it open to the petitioner to work out his remedies the Writ Petition is dismissed. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall stand closed.
