This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the following relief :

"To direct the first respondent to grant police licence to the petitioner for running a lodge without insisting for parking place as per G.O.Ms.No. 423, M.A. dated 31/7/1998 or G.O.Ms.No. 86 M.A. dated 03/03/2006 by following the rules made earlier under section 21 (1) (f) of Hyderabad City Police Act by treating the petitioner as a public place of halting of second sort, as was done in the past and to grant such other suitable orders as this court may deems fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."

2 . Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for respondents.

3. When the matter is called today, it is requested by the learned counsel for the petitioner to permit the petitioner to make necessary application before the authorities for redressal of his grievance and the same may be directed to be considered in accordance with law. The said request is not opposed by the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

4. In view of the above submission, without going into the merits of the matter, the writ petition stands disposed of, keeping it open for the petitioner to make necessary application before the respondent-authorities for redressal of his grievance. If any such application is filed by the petitioner, the same may be considered and appropriate action be taken in accordance with law, within one month from the date of submission of such application. No costs.

5. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
