THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.13215 OF 2017 ORDER:

By order dated 27.07.2016, the petitioner was removed from service w.e.f. 01.04.1995 on the allegation of unauthorised absence. Aggrieved thereby, petitioner preferred appeal on 31.08.2016. Alleging inaction on the appeal preferred by the petitioner and challenging the order of removal, this Writ Petition is filed.

Since petitioner has availed the remedy of appeal and the same is yet to be considered, this Court is not inclined to entertain the Writ Petition and keep the same pending.

The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of directing the 1st respondent to consider the appeal, dated 31.08.2016, preferred by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders as warranted by law by assigning due reasons in support of his decision, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision to the petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
