HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI AND HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE PULLA KARTHIK W.P.No.33106 OF 2015 ORDER: (Per Hon'ble Sri Justice Abhinand Kumar Shavili) Aggrieved by the order dated 20.10.2014 passed in O.A.No.8430 of 2013 by the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal, Hyderabad, the present writ petition is filed. 2.

Heard Sri P.K.Kalyani, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Social Welfare appearing for the respondents.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner had contended that the petitioner has approached the Tribunal seeking to release gratuity, pension and other retiremental benefits and also for dropping of charges leveled against him and without appreciating any of the contentions raised by the petitioner, the Tribunal vide order dated 20.10.2014 dismissed the said O.A. Challenging the same, the present writ petition has been filed. Learned counsel had further contended that

during pendency of the writ petition, though the respondents have concluded the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner, have not passed any orders. In fact, the respondents have issued a show cause notice on 23.06.2016 to the petitioner proposing to impose the punishment of 10% cut in pension for a period of three years.

In view of the said submissions, this Court is of the view that though the respondents have concluded the enquiry, they have not yet passed any final orders. However, the respondents have issued a show cause notice on 23.6.2016 proposing to impose 10% cut in pension for a period of three years.

Hence, the respondents are directed to finalize the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of three

months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not already concluded.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
