Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for services -1 (TG) for learned Government Pleader for School Education.

The grievance of the petitioner is that even though he is eligible for transfer, he was not subjected to transfer counseling process. Petitioner is working as School Assistant (Hindi) and is also a NCC instructor, presently working in Government High School, Huzurabad. According to the petitioner though his name is shown at Sl.No.1 in the present counseling exercise he was not given the place of choice opted by him nor he was accommodated in any of the vacancies. Aggrieved by the same, he preferred appeal on 13.07.2018 as per Rule 16 of the Telangana Teachers (Regulation of Transfers) Rules, 2018. Alleging inaction on the appeal preferred, this writ petition is filed.

With the consent of learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government pleader, without expressing any opinion on merits, the writ petition is disposed of directing the Commissioner & Director of School Education, Hyderabad to examine the claim of petitioner as ventilated in the appeal dated 13.07.2018 and to pass appropriate orders within two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall stand closed.
