Heard Mr Asadullah Shareef, counsel for petitioners and Assistant Government Pleader (Home) for respondents. The Assistant Government Pleader basing on written instructions dated 21.10.2017 submits that on verifying the records including the station general diary, it is found that neither a complaint was received nor any case was registered against the petitioners on the file of Asif Nagar Police Station. Therefore, the question of calling the petitioners to the police station does not arise.

The statement is placed on record and accepted. Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending, shall stand closed.
