This writ petition is filed seeking to issue a writ of mandamus, declaring the action of respondents Nos.3 to 5 in not continuing the petitioner as a Field Assistant, Paludevarlapadu village, Muppalla Mandal, Guntur District, without any notice, as illegal and arbitrary, and consequently to direct respondents Nos.3 to 5 to continue the petitioner as a Field Assistant.

Heard Sri Koti Reddy Idamakanti, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj, appearing for respondent No.1, and Sri M.S.Ramachandramurthy, learned standing counsel for respondents Nos.2 & 3.

It has been contended by the petitioner that he was selected and appointed as a Field Assistant by respondent No.5, vide appointment order dated 22.03.2010. While the petitioner was discharging duties as a Field Assistant, the respondents had orally informed him not to attend the duties. Challenging the same, the present writ petition is filed. Learned standing counsel for respondents Nos.2 & 3 has contended that the petitioner on his own is not attending the duties and the respondents had issued a show cause notice on 14.04.2015 calling upon him to explain as to why disciplinary action should not be initiated against him. The petitioner has not submitted any explanation to the said show cause notice and is not attending his duties. This court, having considered the rival submissions made by both the parties, is of the considered view, without expressing any opinion on

AKS,J WP_15566_2015 merits, that ends of justice would be met if the writ petition is disposed of, directing the petitioner to submit a representation to the respondents seeking to continue him as Field Assistant within 2 (two) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, and upon receiving such representation, the respondents are directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders thereon, in accordance with law, within a period of 8 (eight) weeks therefrom.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.

Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed in consequence.
