THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO CONTEMPT CASE No.2001 OF 2017 ORDER:

This Contempt Case is filed alleging non-implementation of the order passed by this Court, at the time of issuing Notice before admission, on 13.09.2017 to restore the power supply to the villagers who have no arrears as on that date.

A counter-affidavit is filed by the third respondent on behalf of all the respondents stating that the villagers have shifted from Govindapuram Village as the entire village would be inundated by Pulichinthala Project and those who are residing in the village are in arrears of amount and hence, pursuant to the order of this Court, the power supply was not restored. It is also stated that the petitioner suppressed the fact of arrears payable by her. 3.

In view of the said statement made in the counter-affidavit, which is not disputed by filing rejoinder, the contempt proceedings cannot be continued and accordingly, the Contempt Case is closed.
