THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE SANJAY KUMAR AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE M.GANGA RAO WRI T PETI TI ON NOs.32078 AND 32100 OF 2018 COMMON ORDER: (per Hon'ble Sri Justice Sanjay Kumar) In the light of the order that we propose to pass, which does not touch upon the merits of the cases pending before the Courts below, we deem it unnecessary to put the respondents on notice. The prayers of the petitioners in these cases are identical in terms except for the change in relation to their case numbers. Both of them seek directions to the Courts below to dispose of their Land Grabbing OPs within the time stipulated as per Section 7-A(7) of the Andhra Pradesh Land Grabbing (Prohibition) Act, 1982 (for short, 'the Act of 1982'), read with the Circular in Roc.No.4547/OP Cell/2017 dated 04.08.2017 issued by this Court.

It appears that both the LGOPs in question relate to the year 2013 but were re-numbered upon transfer and are presently LGOP Nos.787 and 918 of 2016. In terms of the mandate of Section 7-A(7) of the Act of 1982, every case brought before the Special Tribunal shall be disposed of finally, as far as possible, within a period of six months. As the LGOPs in question date back to the year 2013 and as this Court has also issued instructions to all the Subordinate Courts to endeavour to dispose of matters of 2013 so as to achieve the target of 5+0 stipulated by the Supreme Court, the writ petitions are disposed of directing the Court below in each of these cases to give priority to LGOP Nos.787 of 2016 and 918 of 2016 respectively and endeavour to dispose of the said cases as expeditiously as possible and keeping in mind the mandate of Section 7-A(7) of the Act of 1982.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs. _________________ SANJAY KUMAR,J _________________ M. GANGA RAO, J Dt: 07.09.2018 PGS/IBL
