THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.21662 OF 2017 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:- "to issue a writ or order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Mandamus declaring the inaction of the 2nd respondent in not considering the application dated 16.06.2017 for regulation of the plot No.10 in Sy.No.550 admeasuring 275.55 sq.yards situated at Kodad Municipality & Revenue Village, Suryapet District submitted as per Memo No.2252/M1/2017 dt.28.04.2017 to "issue of Building permission in the Plot by collecting basic penalization charges as per Telangana Regularization of unapproved and illegal layout rules 2015 i.e. 33% compounding fee on the same and also open space contribution charges of 14% on the present market value of the plot."

The main grievance of the petitioner is that respondent No.2 is not considering his application, dated 16.06.2017, for regulation of the aforementioned plot and hence, prays to give a direction to respondent No.2 to consider the said application and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law expeditiously. 3.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the grievance of the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, respondent No.2 is hereby directed to consider the application, dated 16.06.2017, of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
