HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE A. RAMALI NGESWARA RAO Contempt Case No. 782 of 2017 Order:

This Contempt Case is filed alleging non-implementation of the order in W.P.No.20277 of 2016 dated 23.06.2016. This Court disposed of the said Writ Petition with a direction to the fourth respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 26.04.2016 and pass appropriate orders with regard to payment of subsistence allowance.

Now, a counter affidavit is filed by the respondent stating that the representation of the petitioner was considered and a reasoned order was passed on 02.01.2017.

Since this Court did not give any findings on the facts of the case and merely directed the respondent to dispose of the representation and in view of disposal of the representation of the petitioner by the respondent, no further proceedings are warranted in the present Contempt Case.

The Contempt Case is, accordingly, closed. However, if the petitioner is aggrieved of the reasoned order dated 02.01.2017, it is open to him to take appropriate proceedings in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous applications pending in this Contempt Case, if any, shall stand closed.
