THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V. SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.9489 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:

"issue writ of Mandamus: a) To direct the Respondents to release the Terminal Benefits, such as Leave Salary, Provident Fund and all other Retiral Benefits as on 30.06.2014, with all consequential benefits and attendant benefits to the Petitioner herein; b) To pay the interest on delay in payment of Terminal Benefits to the Petitioner herein as on 30.06.2014; c) To award costs. By declaring the action of the Respondents herein as bad, illegal, irrational, arbitrary, discriminatory, void, violative of the Rules and also violative of the Article 14, 15, 16, 21 and 226 of the Constitution of India, and pass any such other Order or further Orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit."

Heard Sri A. Nagendra Rao, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Handlooms and Textiles for respondents.

When the matter is taken up, it is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that for redressal of the grievance of the petitioner, the petitioner herein submitted a representation on 0202-2016 to the 2nd and 3rd respondents herein and no orders have been passed on the said representation so far. A request is made by the learned counsel for the petitioner to direct the 2nd and 3rd respondents to pass appropriate orders on the representation, dated 02-02-2016, in accordance with law, by fixing some timeframe.

The said request is not opposed by learned Government Pleader for respondents and submitted that the said representation would be considered, in accordance with law.

For the aforesaid reasons, the writ petition is disposed of, without expressing any opinion on the merits and demerits of the matter, directing the 2nd and 3rd respondents to consider and pass appropriate orders on the representation, dated 02-02-2016 said to have been submitted by the petitioner herein, in accordance with law, within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
