THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.5719 OF 2017 ORDER:

Heard. With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the Writ Petition is being disposed of at the stage of admission. 2.

The petitioner alleges that her husband died after his retirement from service. Her grievance is that so far no retirement benefits are paid to her. Ventilating her grievance, she submitted a representation on 25.10.2016 to the Deputy Director, Survey and Land Records, Hyderabad, the 4th respondent, followed by legal notices, but no reply is furnished. Hence, this Writ Petition. 3.

When the matter is taken up for consideration, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that since representation is submitted on 25.10.2016, the petitioner would be satisfied if a direction is issued to the competent authority to consider the same.

4.

Without expressing any opinion on merits, the Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of directing the 4th respondent to examine the representation, dated 25.10.2016, submitted by the petitioner and if her claim is valid, the same shall be processed and referred to appropriate competent authority for settlement of retirement benefits. If, according to the 4th respondent, the petitioner is not entitled for the claim made by her, the same shall be informed to her by a reasoned order. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
