This criminal petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code (for short "Cr.P.C.") to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.355 of 2014 pending on the file of the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Vijayawada City, registered for the offence punishable under Section 171-E of Indian Penal Code (for short "I.P.C.") Learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor for the State of Andhra Pradesh submit that the issue involved in this petition is squarely covered by the order of this Court in Criminal Petition No.15168 of 2016 dated 26.10.2016. In view of the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor for the State of Andhra Pradesh, this criminal petition also stands allowed in terms of the said order. No costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous applications, pending if any, shall stand closed.
