THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.20076 OF 2017 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:- "to issue writ order or direction especially one in the Nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not paying the amounts for the work completed by the petitioner i.e. laying of CC Road and WBM Road from H.No.2-12-266 to 2-12-251 and 2-12-251 to 2-12-271 at Bheemaram, Arabindo Society, Vidaranyapuri, Hanamkonda in pursuance of work order No.HO/E1/3719/2016 dt.29-06-2016 is illegal, arbitrary and violative of Article 19 (1) (g) of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to release the admitted amounts together with interest for the work completed and entered in the Measurement Book and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the interest of justice." 2.

The main grievance of the petitioner is that the respondents are not releasing the amounts for the aforesaid work completed by him.

Heard and perused the material available on record. 4.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the grievance of the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, the respondents are hereby directed to release the admitted amounts to the petitioner for the aforesaid work completed by him within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. However, insofar as the balance amount is concerned, the petitioner is at liberty to avail the remedies available to him under law.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
