HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.13415 OF 2017 ORDER:

The grievance of the petitioner is that she made representation on 20-03-2017 for refund of stamp duty since the sale transaction in respect of subject lands of the writ petition could not be finalized. But the said application is not disposed of by the 3rd respondent. Aggrieved by the same, the present writ petition is filed.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue produced G.O.Ms.No.222, dated 19-02-2005 stating that a procedure is envisaged for refund of stamp duty. Without expressing any opinion on merits, the 3rd respondent is directed to consider the application of the petitioner dated 20-03-2017 in terms of G.O.Ms.No.222, dated 19-02-2005 and take action accordingly. Said exercise shall be done within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
