THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SEETHARAMA MURTI WRIT PETITION No.32156 OF 2018 ORDER:

This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed complaining that on the report/complaint, dated 16.08.2018, of the petitioner lodged with the Superintendent of Police, Tirupati Urban Police District, Tirupati, Chittoor District/the 2nd respondent, no crime has been registered and no investigation is taken up, despite lapse of sufficient time.

At the hearing, learned Government Pleader for Home submitted that a case in Crime No.278 of 2018 was registered by the Tirupati Urban Police Station and that an F.I.R. has already been issued. He placed on record a copy of the said F.I.R.

In that view of the matter and as no cause survives for adjudication, the Writ Petition is disposed of as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
