HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No. 14612 of 2014 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, petitioner/accused seeks to quash the proceedings in C.C No. 492 of 2013 on the file of III Metropolitan Magistrate, Ranga Reddy District, L.B. Nagar, registered for the offences under Sections 406, 420, 506 IPC (Crime No. 604 of 2013 of Medipally Police Station, Rachakonda Commissionerate). 2.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 3.07.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, Medipally Police Station, Rachakonda Commissionerate, and submitted that the case has been compromised before Lok Adalat on 8.8.2015 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in C.C No. 492 of 2013 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
