HONOURABLE Dr. JUSTICE B.SIVA SANKARA RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.3919 OF 2015 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner/A1 under Section 482 Cr.P.C seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.964 of 2011 on the file of X Metropolitan Magistrate, Cyberabad at Malkajgiri, Ranga Reddy District, for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A I.P.C. and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The above said crime is outcome of the report of the de facto complainant and stated that already earlier quash proceedings are allowed by compounding the offence so far as A2 to A6, A8 and A9 in Crl.P.No.4034 of 2015 by order dated 28.04.2015. Now sought permission to compound the offence so far as the petitioner/A1 is concerned. The petitioner and the 2nd respondent/de facto complainant are present before the Court and they are identified by their respective counsel and stated that they amicably settled the matter with the intervention of elders and well wishers. Hence, permission to be accorded to compound the offence. Though the offence under Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act otherwise not compoundable by invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C. permission is accorded to compound the said offence.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is allowed by quashing the proceedings in C.C.No.964 of 2011 on the file of X Metropolitan Magistrate, Cyberabad at Malkajgiri, Ranga Reddy District and the bail bonds of the accused shall stand cancelled.

Miscellaneous petitions pending if any, shall stand closed. _________________________ Dr. B. SIVA SANKARA RAO, J
