Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government pleader for Panchayat Raj for respondents 1 and 2, learned Special Standing Counsel for respondent No.3 and learned Standing counsel for respondent No.4. 2.
Petitioner is challenging the order by which, he is placed under suspension and also recovery of alleged misappropriated amount. According to learned counsel for the petitioner, the amount was already paid and there is no justification to keep the petitioner under suspension.

According to learned Special Standing counsel, on 13.07.2018 charges were drawn; petitioner submitted his explanation on 26.07.2018 and today i.e., 11.09.2018 is fixed for personal hearing of petitioner and requests to grant six weeks time to complete the enquiry to which suggestion learned counsel for the petitioner agreed but however, requests for imposing default clause.

Having regard to these submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the competent authority to finalize the disciplinary proceedings as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of thirty (30) days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Failing to finalize the disciplinary proceedings, within the time stipulated for the reasons not attributable to the petitioner, the competent authority is directed to review the
