HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 32304 of 2018 ORDER:

1) Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Government Pleader for Revenue. With the consent of both the parties, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

2) The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondent in not considering the representation dated 31.01.2018, made by the petitioner, for grant of e-pass book in respect of the lands admeasuring Ac.0.65 cents in Survey No.267 of Maddanapalli Village, Ramakuppam Mandal, Chittoor District, as illegal and arbitrary.

3) At the time when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Government Pleader would submit that though the respondents received the representation of the petitioner, but the pass book could not be issued to him for various reasons.

4) Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that if the authorities are not intending to issue pass book, they may be directed to pass appropriate orders giving reasons and communicate the same to the petitioner.

5) Having regard to the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Tahsildar to pass appropriate orders on the representation made by the petitioner, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order and communicate the same, to the petitioner forthwith giving reasons as to why the authorities are not inclining to issue e-pass book to the petitioner.
