THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 30135 OF 2017 O R D E R:

The liberty of the petitioner has been interfered with by the 2nd respondent Station House Officer, Huzurnagar Police Station, at the instance of the 3rd respondent, is what has been complained in this Writ Petition.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

The Sub-Inspector of Police, Huzurnagar Police Station has submitted written instructions to the learned Government Pleader for Home, who, based on which, submits that on 25.07.2017, the 3rd respondent lodged a complaint with the Superintendent of Police, Suryapet against the petitioner, who is none other than her husband, alleging harassment to meet out his unlawful demand for additional dowry. On receipt of the said complaint, the respondent police have made a GD entry and in connection therewith, summoned both the parties for family counselling, where they have agreed to settle the matter. Except that, the respondent police never interfered with the life and liberty of the petitioner and never made him sit in the police station, as alleged, is what the learned Government Pleader submits. Recording the submissions made by the learned Government Pleader, this Writ Petition is closed. The copy of the written instructions are taken on record. No costs.

Consequently, the miscellaneous Applications, if any shall stand closed.
