THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.43799 OF 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition, under Article 226 of Constitution of India, is filed seeking to declare the action of the official respondents in not completing the investigation in Crime No.53 of 2013 for the offences punishable under Sections143, 447, 427, 323, 506 and 509 read with 149 IPC and consequently, direct the official respondents to complete the investigation and file charge sheet. 2.

Heard and perused the material available on record. 3.

Grievance of the petitioner is that respondent No.4 registered the aforementioned crime for the aforesaid offences and though he is having sufficient evidence, he is not taking any steps to investigate into the matter and file charge sheet. 4.

Considering the grievance of the petitioner, respondent No.4 is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.53 of 2013 as expeditiously as possible and file a final report, if any, in either way in accordance with law, within a period of six (6) months from today.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
