O R D E R:- The main grievance of the writ petitioners is that even though the petitioners, being dissatisfied with the meager compensation awarded by the 3rd respondent on 31.12.2015 for acquisition of their lands admeasuring Ac.0.055 cents, Ac.0.23 cents, Ac.0.815 cents and Ac.0.33 cents respectively in R.S.No. 179/2 situated in Kathipudi village, Sankhavaram Mandal, East Godavari District, made representations dated 15.03.2016 and 28.03.2016 requesting the 2nd and 3rd respondents to refer their matters to Arbitrator/Competent Authority for enhancement of compensation, so far, their representations have not been considered. Hence, the present writ petition is filed seeking appropriate directions.
In view of the averments made in the writ affidavit and the submissions made by the learned counsel for both the parties, this Court is inclined to dispose of the writ petition with the following direction:
"Respondent Nos.2 and 3 are directed to consider the representations dated 15.03.2016 and 28.03.2016 said to have been made by the petitioners and pass appropriate orders
thereon in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is needless to mention that if the petitioners are aggrieved by the action or inaction of the respondents, they may approach appropriate forum."
With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
As a sequel to the disposal of the writ petition, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending, shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
